English Matters This is Susan David ´s latest newsletter: Hi B24 class, I’m a major advocate of validating one’s own emotions. How you feel is how you feel. You shouldn’t judge yourself for your feelings. They are neither good nor bad—they just are. ​ Your feelings reflect your emotional response to the world. However, it’s important not to confuse your feelings with reality itself, or to let them dictate your actions. ​ This is what I mean when I encourage people to see their emotions as data, not directives . Think of them as one data point among many to consider as you move forward. ​ Imagine that you’re in a staff meeting. Last class before exam week

 We´ve finished most of the content of UNIT 4. You have to do the following activities at home, to be corrected in class at the beginning of February: -Grammar exercises on page 211 -Reading excercise on page 66 and vocabulary  activities on page 67 (the video listening too) -Revise and check tasks on pages 68-69 -COMPOSITION: Write a short story (page 188) See you next week! THE MOCK EXAM WILL BEGIN AT 16.00H AND WILL LAST ABOUT 3 HOURS.

  Happy new year everybody!  I hope you´re all doing fine. Ill see you in class next Thursday.
